Okay, so first -- to all of you who've been roaming around with your appendages crossed all week, thank you. I've been neglectful in posting the lastest good news!
Last weekend at the Women In Aviation Conference in ATL Kelly and I attended the Top Ten Race Number Drawing. Our top choice would have been #1 of course, but as someone else's name was pulled (congrats, Anne Marie!), our second choice was Lucky Number Seven! Which....
.... thanks to all of your contorted fingers and toes, we drew!
(We do have photos of this momentous occasion (we were the only racers in attendance for the drawing) and I'll post them when I get back on the proper side of the globe).
More news as we start to flight plan in earnest. Meanwhile, for our fans in the Denver and Iowa areas, we need to talk about getting together this June -- the race starts in Denver and makes a huge circle down through Texas, up north through the Mid West, and then over to Atlantic, Iowa. The terminus seems to be a sleepy little place, so anyone wanting to join us for a celebratory party in Atlantic -- the first round is on Classic 7!
